Description
This DPF fuel vaporiser spanner and thread chaser set is designed specifically for Ford applications.
Access to the fuel vaporiser is very restricted on Ford Transit Custom models, making this spanner invaluable for removing the DPF fuel vaporiser injector retaining nut.
The spanner is a 22mm, 6 point, crows foot style with a cut-out and 1/2″ square drive.
It is manufactured from chrome molybdenum (CR-MO) steel for strength and durability.
As removal of the vaporiser often results in damage to the thread, a Ford specific thread chaser is included.
The thread chaser is designed to clean and reform M20 x 1.5mm threads and is operated using a 21mm spanner or socket.
Applications include Ford 1.6, 2.0 and 2.2 litre Duratorq EcoBlue diesel engines from 2012 onwards.
