Description
A custom made lost-wax bronze fireman helmet dedicated to Captain William “Iron Bill” Dowling who was sadly injured during the Southwest Inn fire – an unfortunate day for Houston and the Houston Fire Department. This dedicational bronze helmet sculpture came to life because of Captain William’s wife who wanted to further memorialize her husband, and highlight the sacrifices he and his fellow firefighters made that day, and every day.
This stunning sculpture showcases a life-sized fireman helmet with a customized shield resting in the center, designed and hand-crafted to the Dowling family specifications. Our bronze custom collection hosts an array of sculptures that have been crafted to commemorate, celebrate, memorialize, or dedicate loved ones, friends, public figures and animals. Randolph Rose Collection is honored to have created this bronze fireman helmet statue to celebrate the life and contributions of Captain Dowling while shedding further light on the gratitude we have for all firefighters and first responders.
