The set of statues features two boys – one African American & one Caucasian American – and two girls, one Asian American & one Spanish American. Created using the time-honored lost-wax casting technique, each child’s sculpture is designed walking mid-step with cheerful smiles, symbolizing friendship and inclusivity. The four children’s statues are finished in a rich brown bronze color with verdigris patina accents on their clothing, but can also be finished in classic, bronze patina.
