These two custom life-size lost-wax bronze firefighter statues are powerful and moving tributes to the courage and dedication of firefighters who selflessly put their lives on the line every day. Meticulously crafted using the time-honored lost-wax casting method, each firefighter sculpture captures incredible detail from their traditional turnout gear an equipment to the personalized names and engine numbers on their jackets and shields. One firefighter grips a fireman’s ax in his left hand while resting his hand on his brother’s shoulder, while the second fireman holds a pike pole in his right hand. Inspired by the Foley brothers of the New York Fire Department in West Nyack, NY, these bronze firefighter statues honor the sacrifices both firemen made on 9/11 and the days after.
