Description
A vintage lost-wax bronze Greco-Roman style garden fountain from the mid 20th century depicting a maiden at the top of the fountain with several tritons and cherubs below her. The beautifully crafted woman raises a cornucopia above her head in her right hand – a symbol of abundance. While she modestly holds her dress on the side with her other hand as her eyes are peacefully closed, adding to the relaxing feel of the entire bronze fountain.
The bowled tier she stands in is supported by three young tritons sitting and holding fish in their arms on a larger bowl adorned with faun faces – classic Greek mythical creatures featuring half human and half goat features. The base of our classical bronze fountain is finished with several detailed cherubs holding bouquets of flowers, reinforcing the larger cornucopia the woman holds at the top of the fountain. Featured in our bronze tiered fountains collection, this vintage Greco-Roman inspired bronze fountain is a stunning addition to homes, parks, gardens, entryways, gardens, churches, and businesses adding a classical touch to any indoor or outdoor space.
