This lost-wax bronze fountain depicts three maidens getting ready as they fix their hair and get dressed. All three ladies are featured adorned in beautifully draped garments in a hand-applied verdigris and bronze patina. This beautifully realistic garden fountain sculpture has two women dressed as the third’s chest is elegantly exposed while she’s still dressing. The contrast of the classic bronze color with the bluish green hue of their garments and textured hair makes this piece stand out in any space.
The maidens’ faces are also adorned beneath the top tier where birds rest on the edge as they “drink water” from the fountain.
